Mr.
Feldman is
senior vice president of Jonathan Nehmer + Associates. He has expertise in all facets of project management, architecture and
interior design, design management, and construction administration. His experience includes work as architect and owner's representative in
the direction and management of commercial, institutional, educational,
residential, and hospitality projects. Complementing his education in architecture, Mr. Feldman completed his
Juris Doctor from Georgetown University and is a member of the Maryland Bar.
Prior to joining Jonathan Nehmer + Associates, Inc., Mr. Feldman worked on the feasibility, design, and construction of diverse projects including hotels, high-rise commercial corporate headquarters, educational facilities, civic projects, and housing development projects over the past 12 years. His experience includes managing construction of several $5-10 million projects at Hess Construction Company, where he held the position of project manager in 1995. In that capacity, he developed the construction schedules, bid work to subcontractors, managed the daily construction in the field, and prepared monthly payment requests. From 1988 through 1994 he was employed as an associate with Grimm and Parker P.C., where he was responsible for the architecture and construction administration of numerous projects ranging in size from $1.5 million to $22 million. In addition, he was responsible for quality control and specifications for all projects. From 1986 to 1988 he was employed by Raymond E. Maritz and Sons in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was a project architect. His duties included design and construction of a 16-story, $40 million corporate headquarters, as well as several smaller projects.
He received his bachelor and master of Architecture degrees from the Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Feldman held the position of director of the Potomac Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
