Jonathan C. Nehmer, AIA, ISHC - Principal

Mr. Nehmer is president of Jonathan Nehmer + Associates. He is a licensed architect with expertise in all facets of architecture and interior design, design management, project management, and construction administration. His 20 years of experience include work as an owner's representative in the direction and management of commercial, institutional, residential, and hospitality projects.

Prior to founding Jonathan Nehmer + Associates, Inc., Mr. Nehmer worked on the feasibility, design, and construction of real estate development projects for several major corporations. His experience includes development of Ramada Hotels from 1984 to 1989, where he held the position of vice president of design and technical services. In that capacity, he developed the design of the new Ramada prototype inns and hotels. He also authored the revised "Standards for Design and Construction" for Ramada Hotels, Inns, and Renaissance Hotels. From 1978 to 1984 he was employed as senior project coordinator for the Marriott Corporation, where he was responsible for the design and construction of numerous Marriott Hotels, resorts, restaurants, and in-flight catering facilities.

Mr. Nehmer received his bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Maryland, and he is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the International Society of Hospitality Consultants. Mr. Nehmer also holds a certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is a past vice president of the Potomac Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
